On land
Grove cars sit under heavy tree cover near salt water, which is the worst combination for trim and brightwork. We run maintenance washes, interior work, correction, and coating installs at homes and in building garages along Bayshore and Tigertail.
On the water
Dinner Key is a core route for us. We perform weekly and biweekly washdowns, gelcoat compounding and restoration, ceramic coating, teak cleaning and refinishing, and cabin detailing on center consoles, sportfish, and larger vessels moored throughout the basin.
Local conditions
Vessels on moorings and open slips take more salt spray and more bird traffic than covered berths. Biweekly is the practical minimum here; weekly is what keeps gelcoat from ever needing restoration.
Warm, protected water means scum and growth at the waterline within weeks. Coated hulls release it with a fraction of the scrubbing, which is the main reason our Grove clients coat.
