Gelcoat Restoration
Compounding and polishing that pulls oxidation and chalking back to gloss.
Florida sun oxidizes gelcoat fast. Once the surface goes chalky, wax alone will not bring it back — the dead layer has to be cut off before anything can shine.
We compound with marine-grade abrasives, refine with a second polishing step, and then seal. On badly neglected hulls we test a section first so you can see the realistic outcome before committing to the whole vessel.
Restored gelcoat needs protection immediately. Left bare, it starts oxidizing again within a season.

Questions we get
My hull is badly chalked — is it too far gone?
Rarely. Heavy oxidation usually restores well. What does not restore is gelcoat that has been compounded so many times it is thin, which is why we take a conservative first cut.
