Teak Restoration
Cleaning, sanding, and finishing that respects how much teak you have left.
Teak is a consumable. Every aggressive cleaning and every sanding takes thickness off, so the goal is always the lightest process that gets the result.
We clean with two-part teak systems where appropriate, sand only when cleaning will not do it, and finish to whatever look you want — natural weathered gray, sealed, or a built varnish finish for a bright, glossy deck.
For decks maintained on a schedule, most visits are cleaning only. That is the point.
- Takes about
- 2 – 7 days by scope
- How often
- Cleaned quarterly, refinished as needed
FAQ
Questions we get
Should I varnish my teak decks?
Usually not — varnished decks get slick and are hard to keep up. Varnish suits rails, trim, and table tops. Decks are better sealed or left natural.
